Asking for help isn’t easy. It can feel scary, painful, and overwhelming. Yet, I believe it is worth the risk when you know you are not alone. That’s why when you are ready to ask for help, I am here to provide a trustworthy, safe, and collaborative counseling relationship. I have successfully helped others with anxiety, grief, depression, trauma, negative thoughts, emotional wounds, and relationship/marriage/family issues. I offer a comforting, warm, and genuine atmosphere, and use a variety of interventions such as Somatic Experiencing (SE), and sand-tray therapy.
My approach is grounded in attachment and psychodynamic theory, focusing on the importance of relationships, connection, and the influence of our past. I also enjoy incorporating education, tools, and humor to help you feel at ease. Whether you have goals in mind or aren’t sure where to start, my goal is to work together so you feel safe, heard, and excited about life.
I am particularly passionate about working with trauma, anxiety, and women’s health issues. I believe everyone should have access to quality counseling because I have seen first-hand the benefits and transformative nature of therapy. I would be honored if you asked me for help.
I believe in affordable counseling for everyone. That is why I am an independent contractor with Serenity Life Resource Center. Serenity is a non-profit dedicated to
providing affordable counseling to everyone regardless of race, color,
spiritual belief, national origin, age, disability, sexual orientation, or veteran status.

I believe healing is holistic. Our mind and body are connected and together we will work to integrate the two. Whether you deal with depression, anxiety, mood or personality disorders, PTSD, ADHD, or general fear or worries. I want you to know that your mental health matters. I will help you look at the holistic picture or connection between your body, mind, and spirit and how we can improve not just your mental health, but your overall health.
Sometimes it can feel like we speak a completely different language from our partner! That is why communication is often the main reason couples report coming to counseling. I want to help you communicate more efficiently and effectively. Even if you are not in a relationship, it is important to be able to communicate your needs and understand how to truly listen to others'. We will work together to find positive and practical ways to communicate while on the road to healing.
I believe in educating about and honoring your emotions. Even the ones that are overwhelming and intense. Healing takes courage and that often means getting to the root of emotions that we may have suppressed or pushed aside. The safe haven of counseling is the perfect space to explore these feelings.
I believe at the core of humans is the desire for relationships and connection. However, relationships can be messy and cause you to feel more confused than connected. I want to help you thrive in all relationships in your life, regardless of your current interactions. I think we find healing when we feel connected and at peace with the most important people in our lives. Healing and being vulnerable takes courage and commitment to the relationship with yourself and others.
Healing is a life-long journey that can take many unexpected twists and turns. If you have ever made a change in your life, you know it is not easy. Sometimes, just the fear of change can hold us back from taking that next step. Whether it is a career change, move, graduation, marriage, baby, loss, grief, family dynamics, or something in between, I believe we handle these transitions best when we walk through them with someone who will truly listen.
I have a passion for helping women heal. Especially, women who are experiencing postpartum depression or anxiety, PMS or PMDD, menopausal symptoms or other mental health problems. These issues are often considered "taboo" or not talked about. This can leave women feeling isolated and alone. I want to change that and help you navigate these issues in a healthy way.
Whether what you are facing is big or small, I would be honored to learn how I can help.
